Sync audio question

2013 Fiesta Titanium:

When I make/receive calls, where does the audio come from that I hear? Is it the front door speakers, or are there other speakers somewhere under the dash? I have a problem with my front passenger side speaker, so when I listen to music, I have it faded completely to the back speakers, so the front ones are basically off. But when a call comes in, I hear sound, but it's horrible. Can barely make out what the person is saying, with the volume almost completely up. I want to replace the front speakers, but also would like to know if that's going to fix my issue with Sync.

I am also experiencing a problem with my calls not coming through my speakers. This started after i installed aftermarket front door speaks off a amp. The problem is the original front door speaker wires are running through a line converter to the amp and to the speakers but still no sound from calls.

IF the thing pauses to answer - yet does not "answer" - remember the line isolator prevents power from entering into the upper speaker and mic unit above in the overhead console. So, the Electret mic has no power to work with so you can yammer and yell, but it won't work because it may not have power to it when you worked on the loom for the door speakers.
